Sunrise Optimist Oratory Contest: Any youth 18 years of age or younger on 01 October 2023. Students present a 4-5 minute speech on the topic "How to Change the World with Optimism." A printer copy of the speech and the completed application must be received by the club contest chair no later than 06 Feb 2024 at 5pm. The first place winner will go on to compete in the district competition for a chance to win a scholarship worth $2,500, $1,500, or $1,000 to any college, university, or trade school.
